With HD remakes storming the market and racking up sales, they would undoubtedly turn a profit if they decided to code the game in HD glory. Now would be the best time to make a platforming collectathon resurgence of SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Two or an entirely new game that still captures what fans loved about the original. But the biggest foreseeable hurdle in actually seeing this goal achieved if any of it is remotely true is obtaining the license to do so as Activision owns the license. Fans have been clamoring on their Facebook page for awhile suggesting that they make an HD remake of SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom or a sequel to it, and by the looks of it, it seems as though they are interested in delivering such a game to the community. Heavy Iron Studios cares about their fans and the gamers who purchase their games so they are always ready to lend an ear to its audience to see what they are looking for. On the brighter side of things, it just so happens that Heavy Irons Studios is rumored to be interested in two things that could make SpongeBob fans cheer. It’s not Heavy Iron Studios fault that the current SpongeBob games that are being put out into the market are more than horrible, it all leads back to the root of the problem: Activision.
With THQ going out of business and Heavy Iron Studios putting out games like Robotic Revenge and Hero Pants, it seems as though the SpongeBob franchise has a heavy iron weight dragging it down to the rock bottom depths of the sea.

It’s been over ten years sense the release of SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom and we have not seen another great SpongeBob game since then, sure there was The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie game but that was more of an import of Battle for Bikini Bottom mechanics than it was anything else.
